I read the book Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison. It takes place in a small suburban city in England at a young girls house. It is her diary and she writes about what she did that day. Georgia the main character is 15 years old and has very low confidence in herself. She has a crush on a 17 year old boy named Rob and he is a sweet man that is really hot according to georgia. Throughout the diary she tells how she tries to get his attention along with her many other adventures in her young teenage life. Louise Rennison was trying to show us the hard times that a teenage girl goes through by writing this book. She was very sympathetic to the events that happened to Georgia. She sent out the message to her readers that bad things will happen to you but you must go on with your life and get over it. Georgia experienced some bad things but there was some golden moments like when she finally got to go out with Rob. To me this book was the perfect book. It fit what I like to read and was the perfect mix of suspense and adventure. It is a very fun book to read and if you like the chick flicks then you would love this book.
