Coyote is the trickster and this book lives up to its name. Where I expected an easy fanciful read, like the trickster, the author caught me with deep questions about my relationship to the Earth, the nature of faith, and even the future of humanity. Grounded in ancient truths, the story seamlessly weaves deep ecology, quantum physics, Native American spirituality, Taoism, mystical encounters, and even Christianity into an engaging adventure. No small accomplishment!
While this book is fiction, its wisdom rings loud, true, and exquisitely clear.

On the page, the author skillfully paints word pictures that engulf the senses. You can taste the pancakes, smell the moss, and see the sunsets. This descriptive prose quickly seduced me into believing the outrageous experiences and feeling each unexpected turn as if I was nestled among the cadre of endearing characters. You can pick this story up if your looking for a light read and be satisfied, but by the end expect to be in deep, entertained, touched, and transformed.
