Linda Hiles writes a warm and devoted tribute to God in Arise, O Sleeper. With trust in God and belief in his Son Jesus, eternal life will follow. She has a firm belief in faith. She carefully chooses her words as she gives her interpretation of selected quotes from Bible scripture. Linda Hiles is a gentle soul, spreading the messages she receives from God.

Every reader will find passages in which they can relate. It’s apparent that Linda Hiles has had a painful past, but she emerges from it like a rising phoenix with strong words, reminding us of the imposters that hide in churches and warning us to be aware of their existence. She follows with a suggestion to “put on the full armor of God” to stand up against the evil lurking in unexpected places and to not be taken in by “false prophets.” Her experiences have taught her that only God has earned her trust. When she trusts in Him, she can’t go wrong.

This is a book to read over a period of time. There’s so much information that it’s impossible to completely understand through a quick read. But once the reader comes back, say in a troubled time in life, the messages may all be seen in a different light. It’s a soothing read yet conveys powerful revelations. Arise, O Sleeper, is a book to have on hand when in need of inspiration and loving words. Linda Hiles genuinely feels every word that she writes, sending impassioned tidings to all. It’s a book for every household—a companion to the Bible.

We all have a purpose in life, and Linda Hiles was meant to write this book. The writing is pure and comes from the heart—a heart that truly loves the Lord and wishes to share that pure love with the reader. Arise, O Sleeper says it all.
