This time, however, I got to live, vicariously, a dream. This is the story of Bob being able to tour with Jan and Dean, a seminal surf music duo from the early 60s, for a 15-year period beginning in 1992. Jan and Dean weree no longer a commanding rock and roll presence, but a touring oldies band trying to make ends meet. He also tells the tragic story of Jan Berry, his car accident, and the changes in his life and career.
