This story starts with Jacques Sauniere who is the Museum Louvre's curator's death. The policemen designate that Robert Langdon is a suspect in a murder when they saw him at the spot of murder. Robert Langdon is symboligist of Harvard university. So Robert Langdon is almost arrested by the policemen, but Sophie, who is the granddaughter of Jacques Sauniere, helps Robert Langdon. So Robert Langdon and Sophie follow up the scent that Jacques Sauniere bequeaths about ciphers. So they come to know about the Holy Grail (which means the cup that had Jesus Christ's blood in it), who is wife of Jesus Christ, and descendants of Jesus Christ. And they also came to know about the mess, which the Christian religion tries to defend against the Priory of Sion. Finally they find the last secret. It is that Sophie is the last of the descendants of Jesus Christ, and that Robert Langdon found the Holy Grail.
I think The Da Vinci code's theme could be about Jesus Christ's marriage version. Jesus christ preserved the Holy Grail, which is Mary Magdalene. It's a woman and she married Jesus and bear to progeny. Also her name is same as the prostitute of the Bible. This content is very defferent with the Bible's contents.
This book is kind of interesting because I never read that kind of book before. I especially like Da Vinci's art construction and Rober Langdon's reasoning competence. While I read this book, I came to know more about Da Vinci's art and symbol technology than before.
