Yippee! Another new author for my list...like it's not big enough already. I'm so glad I got "Pleasure Unbound" by Larissa Ione. She's produced a really interesting and unusual world of demons where the 'bad' guys aren't all bad (but some of them sure are) and the 'good' guys aren't all good either. Her demon-infested world will suck you in and the next thing you know...it's 2:00 a.m. and you have to get up in less than 4 hours to go to work. Oh wait...that's me.

Demons aren't all bad. They also aren't all ugly either. And Eidolon? Yummy. A doctor! Sexy, thoughtful, more of a Beta with occasional Alpha bursts. Sounds just like the man your parents wanted you to marry, eh? Well apart from the whole demon thing. And did I mention he's a sex demon? Need I say more?

Tayla is a demon-slayer. At 16 she saw the thing that killed her mother and it certainly wasn't a crazed human like the cops said. Since then, she lives in the underworld unseen by most humans and hunts all demons. Until one saves her life. But aren't all demons evil? Don't they all kill? She has some hard truths to learn and difficult decisions to make a result. Sometimes her decisions weren't the best...welcome to the human race.

I liked the world. I liked the plotline. I liked the two lead characters, faults and all. Anyway, Ione hit a home run for me with this intricate story and I definitely plan on picking up Eidolon's brothers' stories when they are relased in March and April 2009.
