This book is a very simple yet a realistic story of two children who never thought that they would have to go through so many hard ships of life...Sade and her brother are smuggled to London as for them to remain in safety. As they arrive new challenges arise. one after the other. I realized that Sade and her father were soldiers of the same battle...the book basicly portrays the hardships of speaking the truth...Sade lost her mother, her home but after all someone had to speak the truth, someone had to come out, stand up and show people the mirror...
It was a really harsh story to be exiled from your own countries where the memories of the one person who is no more lies...
This book reveals the other side of truth, the harder side with suffering and hardships...and Sade's family was just an innocent victim...
