This is a terrific book and I have read it several times and I can see why Carol's late daughter Carrie Hamilton wanted to make a Play out of the First Half of the book.

The book is honest and straightforward. it is also touching, funny, sad, and just full of mixed emotions.

It makes you believe that if you have a dream then you have to follow it no matter how many obstacles get in the way such as money or lack thereof.

It is being in the right place at the right time.

I think that Carol was meant not only to be an
actress in both comedy and dramatic roles but also
to become an author in her own right.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a
Carol Burnett Fan and would like to get to know her
from her own written words.
