i havent actually gotten the chance to read this book..but i know that its supposed to be a real 15 year old girl's diary. almost everything i've ever read about this book says thats not true. Also, the girl's name isnt Alice, her name is never mentioned, although there is an alice but shes only involved in a few paragraphs of the begining chapters. But still, from what ive read and know about his book, i would recommend it to most teenagers, especially the ones who are experimenting with drugs. Although some of the things that happen in this book arent realistic, i think it would be an intersting story.
P.S. anyone who doesnt feel like reading the book, there was a movie made back in the 70's where william shatner plays the troubled girl's father.
