The story teaches history, friendship, and family. What I found so interesting were the little known facts about the London Blitz , the author also gave a sense of the terror the Londoners endured. I was surprised about the familial and adult toned situations, however, facts are facts. I don't want to give the story away, just know that it kept this 43 year old and an 11 year fully engaged.
