The 5000 Year Leap: A Miracle That Changed the World by W Cleon Skousen
The 5000 Year Leap: A Miracle That Changed the World

1eyedreader, December 26, 2010

I read this book many years ago but remember it well. We always have to repeat history and it does not take a scholar to look forward in time and predicting human behavior. Skousen is very quick to jump to unsupported conclusions. He does not support his principles with well-reasoned arguments. He falls a little short to prove his view that Biblical law has a direct relationship to the American Constitution. Many of his points and principles are common sense and are relevant to people and the way that people treat each other. If we did, at least in some aspect, practice the points he makes then probably the world would be a better place for us all. All in all a good read but keep the information in perspective.
