How does one make the conflict in the Middle East...funny? This was my initial reaction upon reading about the book. Then I read it, and Levey does just that. While Levey clearly illustrates the horrors of the conflict, he also shows the very bizarre side of Israeli politics. It's like Abbott and Costello meet Kafka. Worth a read.
