This book hooked me right from the beginning, which needless to say is not an easy task. Reacher sees a potential kidnapping taking place and in typical Jack Reacher fashion decides to intervene, which has some completely un-thought of consequences. It's a perfect example of an edge of the seat thriller!!
The best part was that this book keeps you so engaged that it's a surprise to know you've reached the last page. The "Bad Guys" present a formidable challenge to Reacher. He doesn't seem quite so invincible in this book, which only makes the story better. Must read...

Gideon Lewis-Kraus takes the readers on a bittersweet journey... his walks through northern Spain and south east Japan. His description of the landscape is vivid and beautifully written, at times almost poetic. You end up understanding and empathizing with his frustrations and his anguish.
This book is enormously profound and moving, and can't fail to touch even the most jaded!

Hilarious.... It nearly set my jaws aching with spontaneous laughter. Ginny Aiken has really brought the characters to life. The protagonist Haley is just so amusing as she tries to solve a murder, while remaining the top suspect! Half the times it's difficult to know whether to laugh or cry at the latest predicament she's embroiled herself in... thanks to her runaway mouth!
