My favorite book of the last decade. Brilliant story telling and a unique time/place/setting for such a story. I didn't want my time with the characters to end...
I bought this book on a trip to Portland from SF. I went to Powell's looking specifically for Howard Norman titles. He is a great story teller. Powell's City of Books is an independent bookstore in Portland, Oregon, that fills a whole city block with more than a million new, used, and out of print books. Shop those shelves — plus literally millions more books, DVDs, and eBooks — here at Powells.com.
