The perfect mystery for the book lover. Creepy, with great twists and turns, and a main character that any book nerd will love. Especially great for lovers of classic British fictiona ala the Bronte sisters. Highly recommended.
A very good popular history of Tibet. It blends Laird's frame story of interviewing the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, his historical research, and the Dalai Lama's unique personal perspective on Tibetan history. Excellent, and very readable.
This is a surprisingly reverent exploration of the Bible as well as the customs of those who believe in it literally. It's fascinating to watch Jacobs transform bit by bit through this exploration.
