This is easily the best book I read in 2011. Wonderful story and excellent conveying of that story. It has all the elements of great fiction.

Cutting for Stone is an amazing story, with amazing characters. It is suspenseful and deals with questions of what it means to be a human being when faced with difficult decisions . This book has it all! I couldn't put it down and wondered what I would do when it was finished.
