A classic Emily Giffin book, this is my pick for Powells.com Puddly Awards!

50 Shades Trilogy #02: Fifty Shades Darker by E. L. James
50 Shades Trilogy #02: Fifty Shades Darker

Angela Hunter, August 5, 2012

I found the second book of the Fifty Shades Trilogy to be far superior to the first. Still a bit wordy and repetitive, the writing and story improved from the first book. Still captivating.

Windsors:from George To Kate
Windsors:from George To Kate

Angela Hunter, August 5, 2012

This documentary has amazing footage going back to George and a wonderful recap and history of one of the most famous families. I do wish more time was given to the Windsors of the last decade or so, but otherwise, a wonderful and educational film.

Vow (Combo) (Blu-ray)

Angela Hunter, August 5, 2012

This perfectly cast movie really makes you think about what would happen if your spouse gets amnesia and doesn't remember you. Following the lives of a couple as they try to return to happier times, this movie is heart wrenching yet funny.

50 Shades Trilogy #01: Fifty Shades of Grey by E. L. James
50 Shades Trilogy #01: Fifty Shades of Grey

Angela Hunter, August 5, 2012

I gave in to the hype and read the first book of the 50 Shades Trilogy: Fifty Shades of Grey. The writing style is quite obvious as a book that was at one time, self published. Wordy and repetitive at times, I still found the book captivating. I couldn't help but turn the page to find out what could possibly happen next. Overall, a good read.
