Such a gorgeous book with detailed pictures of typical Spanish gastronomy from around the country. Very organized layout, with each chapter/section focusing on a specific region. In addition to the beautiful photos, there are maps, concise histories and descriptions of the foods and customs, and even recipes to try at home. As someone who has traveled around Spain, I definitely recommend this book for a clear picture of Spanish cuisine and culture.

Clever and intriguing writing, yet surprisingly slow at times. Definitely not my favorite Austen novel, but still very cute and witty throughout. The characters are well developed, but I felt there was much unnecessary banter among certain characters that could have been summed up in a paragraph, rather than three pages. I recommend it, but not if you have a short attention span.

An interesting read in order to learn about the era of the author, the difficulties that surrounded the working class in factories, and the relationships and clashes between people from different regions of England. The writing was a bit hard to follow at times, perhaps since it was written in the 1800's. However the characters were relatable and the story line was good.
