Weekend Knitting: 50 Unique Projects and Ideas by Melanie Falick
Weekend Knitting: 50 Unique Projects and Ideas

Annette, September 26, 2006

This is an excellent resource for the beginner and intermediate knitter. The patters are clear, the pictures are beautiful and the projects are (true to their name) largely able to be completed in a weekend. There are some original patterns in the book (flower shaped face cloths, a checkers game and game bag) in addition to some lovely twists on old favorites (cashmere sweater, bolero jacket.) This is a great all-around book for the knitting enthusiast with a wide array of appealing projects.
