When I set out to write a book about the natural history of breasts, I knew I'd have to answer some awkward questions about my book topic. At a...

What an amazing book! The City & Tbe City showcases two cities, side by side and even sometimes overlapping, with citizens that very carefully do not see the citizens in the other city. China Mieville tells this so-much-more-than a murder mystery wonderfully. I've become a great fan of his work, and highly recommend this novel. Enjoy!
An absolute must-read! Wonderfully written and so easy to sink into--the hours spent reading will fly by. Margaret Atwood tells how some people, like Zenia, are just plain bad. Then some people, like Roz, Tony, & Charis, can be cut off at the knees, hearts ripped out their chests, but then rise to live again.
Elizabeth Middleton moves from England, the heart of civilization, to a tiny village in upstate New York. She believed this to be a brand-new chapter in her life, but had no idea what surprises and wishes would arrive in the form of Nathaniel Bonner. So much more than a love story, "Into the Wilderness" takes the reader along a fantastical journey. Intrigue, battles, and forbidden love race across the page and into imagination!
A truly beautiful book, "Cold Mountain" is exquisitely written and very moving. Historical fiction is a great genre, and this book just jumps right in, along with a heartbreaking love story. This is a novel that I've been drawn to again and again, being immersed in the language and the story, it doesn't get any better.
I'll always treasure this book! "The Book of Flying" has a little bit of everything--true love, swashbuckling, magic, great scholars, and so much adventure. Getting lost in the world Keith Miller is a great time!
