This first book in the "young adult" Bloody Jack series is the beginning of hijinks and mishaps that I continue to enjoy well into my college years. I highly recommend this book (the entire series, in fact) to anyone and their kids (middle school and up) who enjoy young adult historical fiction and/or pirates.
