Gail Sheehy has really done an excellent job of analyzing and offering advice for the stages that adults go through when acting as caregivers for family or friends. She uses her personal experiences as well as those of others. An excellent guidebook for those of us (indeed, most of us) who will assume the caregiver role sometime in our lives.
