The Lost Boy

By: Dave Pelzer
The Lost Boy gives very deep emotional thoughts. It really touches your heart, and makes you think about how lucky you are. The Lost Boy is about a boy, David, who is abused by his mom at home, and sometimes his dad. Dave is surviving his abusive childhood, in several different strangers homes.I personally think this book is very good, but it also is heartbreaking listening to all of the bad things that happened to Dave in his childhood. “Leave me alone!” Dave shouted. I think this quote shows how Dave tried to survive his misery living with his mom. It also shows theme which I believe is show how strong you are to prove someone wrong.
