Such a refreshing, intelligent book. I like that the author is unapologetically progressive, and makes his case well. He tackles difficult issues right from the start - the first chapter is on abortion, and he makes the pro-choice case in ways I plan on borrowing. If you're interested in a straight-up, actually progressive (as opposed to some of the leaders the press usually calls on to represent the religious left) approach to Christianity, this book is for you.

I found this book interesting, amusing & fun. I retain information better with a story, and this author is a great storyteller. Loved the stuff about bananas, and the Mars landers.... I am always on the lookout for a story, glad I found these.
I love this book! Is both fun & informative. Real and down to earth, with recipes that a person with a busy life can actually make. I've made several - am in the "prep" phase, and they are delicious. Vegan food for real people, with a charming author.
