The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
The Forgotten Garden

I can't remember the last time I stayed up till I just couldn't keep my eyes open one more moment. Part historical fiction, part mystery, with the thread of a love story- and the best of of all three.

Part historical fiction, part mystery, part love story. Do not start unless your ready for sleepless nights. I was compelled to keep reading. Beautifully written. The story will stay with you long after you finish the book. I find myself wondering how the characters are doing - as if I could sit down, have a pot of tea, have a chat, up on how they are doing.

The House at Tyneford by Natasha Solomons
The House at Tyneford

Beth Ann Beckmann, August 14, 2012

It has been a long time since I went to bed early and stayed up half the night because I couldn't put a book down. The story sweeps you in and you can almost hear the waves crashing on the shore and feel the chill of the maids quarters on a winters night. As the lives of the inhabitants unfold I couldn't turn the pages fast enough or savor the words slow enough. I find myself today thinking about those who lived it
