A Lesson in Secrets: A Maisie Dobbs Novel by Jacqueline Winspear
A Lesson in Secrets: A Maisie Dobbs Novel

Bev Balliett, January 3, 2012

Jacqueline Winspear weaves compelling tales of human nature and history within her mysteries. Her protagonist, Maisie Dobbs, is a pilgrim on a personal journey of learning and healing. Her challenges are reflective of the overall turmoil of the time period between WWI and WWII in England. Winspear draws many parallels between then and now with subtle irony. History does indeed repeat itself.
