Don't be confused though, this is not a travel book. You'll want to visit the places he visited, but you likely won't see what he saw, unless you're spiritually prepared to experience with your soul. He's not just seeing sights; he's living with the people. Merging with their souls. Communing with the eternal Greek spirit. It took me three months to read this book. Not because it's a particularly difficult read. But because I relished every word like it was coming straight from the lips of Zeus.
