This was an amazing and informative account of what happened to some people after the hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. It was a fascinating and gripping read, even more so because it is non fiction. Although it did not win the American Book Award, I think it should have! This is a book that shows how a calamity like Katrina brings out the best and worst in people. Well worth a read!
