The Land of Painted Caves (Earth's Children) by Jean M Auel
The Land of Painted Caves (Earth's Children)

CastleFan, February 3, 2014

This book had some great scenes in it but you had to read through a lot of repetition from the previous books to get to the new stuff. You also have to get through a lot of descriptions about the caves and ceremonies. While some of that stuff might be interesting it would have been better to have more new story and less of those details.

Three Little Words by Susan Mallery
Three Little Words

I do not rate a lot of books with 5 stars however this book was really good and I love this series! I love reading books about small towns were you get to know everyone and in later books you get to see how old characters are doing. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this series and hope it continues for awhile.

Yours Affectionately, Jane Austen by Sally Smith O'rourke
Yours Affectionately, Jane Austen

CastleFan, August 22, 2013

I received this book from the author.
Since "The Man Who Loved Jane Austen" was one of my favorite Austenesque books, I was really looking forward to reading Yours Affectionately, Jane Austen . It surpassed my expectations, which were high. Sally Smith O'Rourke has a way of bringing Jane Austen's characters to life by adding more heart. She also creates new characters that you fall in love with and I personally would love to hear more of what happens to them.
