During the winter term, I recommended this book to several of my writing students at my local community college. They agreed that Esquith is an inspiration and has written a facinating book. I admire the way in which he has used the anger he feels about the injustices of our world to make the lives of his students better. He is a fine example for teachers of any age or grade level.
