This time, Alex Rider may not live to celebrate his 15th birthday. Luck has always been on his side, but now it seems to have abandoned him at the worst time possible. Ark Angel is all about Alex stopping one of the most powerful men in the world, Nikolei Drevin. To stop him and to save the world for the 6th time, he must journey into outer space to relocate the world’s ticking murder weapon: a deadly bomb. “There was the bomb, a six-figure display, rapidly counting down: 27:07:05. Alex checked his watch. Yes. Three minutes past four. He had just twenty-seven minutes left.” In my opinion, Ark Angel is a true page-turner and builds suspense. The main theme of Ark Angel is showing courage under stress and anxiety. Alex Rider does an excellent job of displaying courage at his young age.
