This book was definitely worth the wait! In the time between books 1 and 2, I gave away 3 copies of "The Name of the Wind" as a gift, and bought it in hardback, paperback, and on my Kindle. And when The Wise Man's Fear came out, I bought it in hardback (signed, from my local indie bookstore), and on Kindle, and I'll be buying the paperback too. LOVED Wise Man's Fear, and LOVE Rothfuss!
I LOVED the first novel from Bradley, "The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie" and it got me through an otherwise excruciating term on jury duty. SO I wsa totally looking forward to the next Flavia de Luce book, and this one did not disappoint. The highest compliment I can pay it is, I will buy everything Bradley writes, IN HARDBACK and at full price. Can't wait for the 3rd!

I really enjoyed 20th Century Ghosts and wanted to see if Joe Hill could write a novel as tight as the short stories. Um, he can. Good read! I'm eager to see what he does next.
