Maximum Ride #1: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson
Maximum Ride #1: The Angel Experiment

ChibiDollxx, August 5, 2012

Looking for nonstop cinematic action? Looking for a page-turner? Looking for a book you will read over and over again? Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment is the book you are looking for. Out of all the four times I've read this in only 3 years, I have not been able to put it down. The fact that I DID read it four times is an example of how amazing it is! Max is that person that as soon as I met her, l wanted to be in the flock, I got to know her, I want to BE Max! Wings, wit, and everything. The book had me running out the door to the library to get the next three, with cliffhangers, action, and twists, turns, and dead ends everywhere. Read this book- heck, read the entire series. Trust me, it will have you, hook, line, and sinker.

Choker by Elizabeth Woods

ChibiDollxx, May 19, 2012

'Choker' is a haunting, disturbing, vivid novel that you will NOT want to put down! This novel will make you sit at the edge of your seat, anticipating the next horrible thing to happen, and play games with your brain. I suggest 'Choker' for the person who wants to read one of the most messed-up horror stories on Young Adult shelves.

Life as We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer
Life as We Knew It

ChibiDollxx, April 4, 2012

This book is amazing! It makes you wonder if such a large catastrophe as the moon being knocked dramatically close to the Earth and causing life threatening- even civilization threatening- events, like tsunamis' and eruptions. You won't be able to put it down, and you will be tempted to grab a notepad and pen to take notes from the extremely smart mother in this novel, who knows exactly what her family needs in this situation. Susan Pffeffer did an amazing job making it seem as though you are living Miranda's life, that you will be amazed and excited when you see your television works and jump when the heater is turned on. 'Life as We Knew It' is an amazing end-of-days book, and will make you thankful for being well-fed and that the moon is in it's place!

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games #1) by Suzanne Collins
The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games #1)

ChibiDollxx, March 26, 2012

This book left me gasping for breath! The story is so real, and quite possible, that you will feel like you are watching the Games, or, in some cases, WITH Katniss in the Hunger Games! This book is so amazing and clever that you will literally be sitting at the edge of your seat, not wanting to put it down. It sends you on a crazy ride that you won't want to get off, and you will soon hurry to the book store and buy the next book after finishing it. This book is not about kids killing kids, it's about survival, and nobody WANTS to be in the Games! This story will make you laugh, cry, have "aha!" moments, and yes, even punch a wall, but it is worth the read by a long shot. There is a reason it is so popular, but before you decide not to read it because of the hype, think again!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
Daughter of Smoke and Bone

This book is amazing! It was hard to put this whimsical, amazing book down. The story takes you into a different reality, making you think twice about the possibility of real, true magic(Hello, the main characters' hair grows blue!) hidden under normal (Or abnormal, too!) circumstances. It even had me throwing beads, hoping my wish on them would come true! By an author fascinated by demons and magic, this book is just amazing. I can't wait until the sequel comes out!
