Another great effort by Ira Glass, who was the editor on this intelligent and thoughtful collection of non-fiction essays. Ira Glass' choices are informative, yet entertaining. I was instantly turned on to 3 new writers after reading this collection and jneust beginning to explore their other works. I recommend Billy Bryson's Among the Thugs as one of the great pieces of gonzo reporting that Ira Glass' collection turned me on to.
