Under Wildwood (The Wildwood Chronicles #2)

Loved the first book in the series and was thrilled to see the story continued in a second book. Having grown up and lived most of my life in Portland added greatly to the appeal of this book. The story fit in wonderfully with all the old tales and myths of Forest Park and the West Hills....some of my old haunts. The writing took me back to those days of hiking through various parts of the park and the other forested areas of the west side....and that feeling that you were often being watched.
The descriptions and name given to the St. John's Bridge bring back those great images of the bridge almost disappering on foggy days. And then there is the pure magic of the Pittock Mansion. The characters really brought this book to life for me. The artwork is delightful.

I definitely hope this book is also printed a special addition like the first book was. I would definitely buy it.
