I really love her FBI series and this one was no exception. She gives us a couple of good plot lines to follow and they are all very exciting.

The Beginning (FBI Thriller) by Catherine Coulter
The Beginning (FBI Thriller)

Christina Mays, September 1, 2011

I love these books and read them over and over. This is the beginning of her FBI series and whoa what a ride! Her characters are wonderful, the twists keep the pages turning and the endings are often quite surprising. I can't wait for the next book and I say that every time a new one in this series comes out.

Oogy: The Dog Only a Family Could Love by Larry Levin
Oogy: The Dog Only a Family Could Love

Christina Mays, January 3, 2011

This is a beautiful story. My sister gave me this book for Christmas and I couldn't put it down. I love this family, I love the vets but most of all I love this dog. His spirit and sweetness comes through with every word on every page. It is nice to find such an uplifting tale.

Burn Out by Marcia Muller
Burn Out

Christina Mays, January 6, 2010

Marcia Muller is a fantastic writer and her Sharon McCone series is gritty and real. I adore her spunk and realistic character development. I found the series by accident. I was shopping at Powell's on Hawthorne and saw the staff picks sign on her books. I enjoyed another female private eye series and this was compared by the employees. I bought one book and devoured the entire series. I have since hooked my family on her books. This is a terrific read!
