Not Cool: The Hipster Elite and Their War on You by Greg Gutfeld
Not Cool: The Hipster Elite and Their War on You

Claudia, March 24, 2014

I love reading Greg’s words because he writes like he speaks. If you watch his eyes when he is asked a question you can see the light flash as he comes up with a metaphor that makes everything crystal clear and usually makes you laugh out loud. His book is the same. It’s filled with interesting metaphors that are easy to relate to every day life and then you wonder how he is reading your thoughts especially when you haven’t expressed some of them verbally. You just know he is channeling you and you aren’t alone.

Heart: An American Medical Odyssey by Dick Cheney and Jonathan Reiner
Heart: An American Medical Odyssey

Claudia, October 27, 2013

Wow. What an emotional story. His struggles are inspirational. I have always greatly admired the Vice President and now even more so because of his truth and honesty in sharing his deep thoughts on survival and life.

Never Trust a Liberal Over Three-Especially a Republican by Ann Coulter
Never Trust a Liberal Over Three-Especially a Republican

Claudia, October 22, 2013

The review I read said I’ve never seen Ann like this before but I have news for the reviewer. Ann Coulter is always uncensored and unafraid to speak the truth. That is what I enjoy so much " pure, unadulterated truth. No mockery either. Just politics as Ann sees and tells it.

Things That Matter: Three Decades of Passions, Pastimes and Politics

Claudia, October 22, 2013

I love the way Charles cuts to the chase and does not mince words. I have looked forward to this book since I have enjoyed reading his columns for so long and now I can read his works all at once.

Charlie the Ranch Dog: Charlie's Snow Day (I Can Read Books: Level 1) by Ree Drummond
Charlie the Ranch Dog: Charlie's Snow Day (I Can Read Books: Level 1)

Claudia, October 15, 2013

Charlie may be a ranch dog but his owner is a great storyteller. I love Ree's voice. She sounds like a dear friend and I only know her from television. Another great read by the Pioneer Woman.
