Last Apprentice #07: Clash of the Demons by Joseph Delaney
Last Apprentice #07: Clash of the Demons

Courtney Scott, September 23, 2009

An amazing book by far! Of course the entire series is one of the best ones I've ever read. Joseph Delaney is a master at making you feel like you are there with his imaginative writing skills! You feel like you are right there with the Spook and Tom on their adventures! I can't wait for the next one, but I suppose I will have to!!

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass (Penguin Classics) by Lewis Carroll
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass (Penguin Classics)

Courtney Scott, June 28, 2009

My brother always ranted and raved about this book. I didn't realize until recently why. Like everyone else I grew up with the Disney Apaptation of Alice. However that is no where near what depth, character and art the original story holds. I couldn't put it down. From the Jabberwocky, to the white queen it was an amazingly written book. I would recomend to anyone to pick this classic up, sip a cup of tea and let yourself be imersed into this fantasy realm that is Wonderland.

Supernatural: John Winchester's Journal by Alex Irvine
Supernatural: John Winchester's Journal

Courtney Scott, June 24, 2009

Watching Supernatual you tend to see the boys refer to their father's journal quite frequently. It helps them figure out what they are up against, and how to fight it. I've always been curious to know what else is written in this covited journal, and now I can read it myself. All the way from when John first wrote it in, describing his love for Mary, and the journey with his kids, and watching them go from boys, to Hunters, Sam leaving to go to college. Everything. It's an amazing read, and it's written by the same people that write the show, so you know you're getting the legit journal!

Supernatural: Origins by Peter Johnson
Supernatural: Origins

Courtney Scott, June 24, 2009

The show alone is a great series. But Supernatural Origins is the guide for any avid watcher of the show who wants to know more about what happend Pre- TV. The detail in the artwork is beautiful and the story is captivating. I'll admit. I normally don't read graphic novels, but when I saw they made my favorite show into a prequel in comic form, I had to check it out. And I was not dissapointed!

Paranoid Park by Blake Nelson
Paranoid Park

Courtney Scott, March 3, 2008

This is an amazing piece of art...I say art, because the way this book is written takes pure talent. It draws you in after the first sentance, and from there you're hooked. Also, it's being turned into a movie, this summer...I can't wait to see the book I fell in love with on the big screen. The book ( as well as the movie) take place in Portland, OR as well....Deffinatly a book to put on your "Must read list"
