My 7 yr old daughter loved this book and just finished the second in the series. A bonus, she got to fold Origami Yoda. She was tickled with the instructions for origami.
I really liked how David was fed up with the high powered system and landed in a place that was barely staying afloat, but made him feel like he was making a difference. With hard work, a vision, and patience, he was able to climb back up on top. And all with a feeling that he was helping people.
This book was a little different than Grishams earlier works and very refreshing.
