The Call of Sedona: Journey of the Heart by Ilchi Lee
The Call of Sedona: Journey of the Heart

David Ryan, January 17, 2012

For anyone who has felt a confusion or emptiness in the droning of daily life, this book brings the reader down the path that Lee has forged from those same relatable sentiments, to life in communion with the world around him. With Sedona as a backdrop, the experience of his meditations and communications with the earth are recounted in a way that sometimes resembles poetry more than prose. The reader inevitably will grow an affection for Sedona through the descriptions of it's remarkable scenery. But the main purpose of this work is not simply to describe a place. It cogently tackles fundamental questions about life and one's position and purpose in the universe, without becoming too dense.
