Raine Benares is as adept at magic as Harry Dresden and just as kick-butt as Anita Blake. In the second book of this series, she takes us on a fast-paced romp that has lots of humor, action and a tease of romance. The author's sexy goblins give a whole new meaning to "things that go bump in the night!"
A princess who would rather cook for a dragon that be rescued. She can take care of herself, thank you very much! I love this series. It would make a great gift for Harry Potter fans.
"Bread and Roses, Too" is an entertaining way to connect to some history. Patterson's ability to get into the minds and feelings of her characters, in a totally believeable way, allows readers to live the story right along with families involved. A good read for ages 10+.
