The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella
The Undomestic Goddess

An overall enjoyable chick-lit/romance novel with some hilarious mooments. The best part of it to me was the description about how the main protagonist samantha deals with the usual domestic choires - doing laundry, cleaning, cooking etc. For me personally it's hard to believe that someone would be so ignorant about it and that's what's so funny in this book, though I admit that there might be people who never actually had the need or want to do the domestic routine. The second part of the book is sligtly less inteesting as it strays into romance, there's also some action at the end. All in all, I'd recommend it, especially for cold winter evenings.

This is not the usual chick lit, but more a good novel with many funny moments and also some touching episodes. I definitely recommend it for all female readers, you won't be dissappointed!

Eragon: Inheritance Book 1 by Christopher Paolini
Eragon: Inheritance Book 1

An entertaining read, particulary recommended for boys, but girls will like it too. A typical but nevertheless enjoyable coming-of-age story set in a fantasy world. Ends off leaving you to want more, and luckily there's more:)

Stargate Sg-1 #02: Sacrifice Moon by Julie Fortune
Stargate Sg-1 #02: Sacrifice Moon

A great Stargate SG-1 story, set in the first season of the series. It's got the humour of the series, and some great action scenes, and also some very dramatic scenes, as the team struggles to survive on a planet where half of the population turns into canibalistic predators at night and hunts for the other half, a fate that touches the SG-1 team too. A must for any Stargate fan.

Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Little Princess

I really liked it. The story is touching and drawing one in, and has some great moments, especially towards the end, and also a good ending. The plot is not very complicated, and a bit stretched from nowadays perspective (it might have been true at the time it was writen, though), but the story isn't less good due to that. I'd recommend this book for reading with/for kids, especially girls.
