House of Night 02. Betrayed by Kristin Cast
House of Night 02. Betrayed

Dragonkeeper, April 14, 2009

Zoey has settled into the house of night, but there are still some major complications in her life. Her ex-boyfriend is still after her, after the imprint, and she just needs him to leave her alone so she can be with the new man in her life. And someone is killing human kids, kids who she knows from her old school, and all evidence points to her classmates or teachers as to being the culprit. She must solve this mystery, sort out her social problems and somehow persuade Heath to leave her alone. But how do you break an imprint?
This book is simply un-put-down-able- I couldn't stop reading! You are really drawn into the story, and just have to see how it all turns out. This series is light reading, but really grabs you. I would recomend this book, and the rest of the series, to teens and young adults, especially twilight fans.

Marked: The House of Night #1 by P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast
Marked: The House of Night #1

Dragonkeeper, April 14, 2009

This is one of my favourite books ever! I loved Twilight, I adore this! You are really brought into the story, and sympathize with the characters with every problem they face. It isn't too heavy, nice and light reading, but a great book. You will laugh, cry and feel for Zoey, and can't help but to finish the series!
I would recommend this book to teens and young adults, especially Twilight fans.

the adventures of Ping continue in this wonderful book. She continues in her quest with Danzi to 'Ocean' and must save him from the evil hands of necromancers and those who wish to own Danzi and the dragonstone for their own ends - to sell as ingredients in spells.
This captivating adventure is something that all book lovers should read - and is to be recomended to people aged 10 - 13.

Animorphs #01: The Invasion by K A Applegate

Dragonkeeper, March 29, 2009

5 kids are walking home from the mall when they see an alien spaceship landing. They are told about the yeerks, slug-like alien parasites who are conducting a secret invasion of Earth, controlling the minds and bodies of their hosts - people who have been infested. They could be anyone, and only Jake, Rachel, Cassie, Tobias and Marco have the knowledge to stop them. They were given the morphing power by an andalite - the 'goodies' of the universe, who are fighting a battle to stop the yeerks from achieving their goal - the domination or destruction of every sentient species in the universe. Now, they can change into any animal they can touch, and the world rests upon their shoulders.
A great book by K. A. Applegate, the first in the 54 book series which was later made into a T V show. Excellent for all sci-fi lovers aged 10 - 13.
