The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
The Graveyard Book

EK, February 3, 2010

This is a wonderfully sweet and dark book. The story of a human boy growing up in a grave yard, amongst ghosts that died centuries ago. It is suspenseful and charming all at the same time.

O Pioneers by Willa Cather
O Pioneers

EK, January 26, 2010

Willa Cather is an amazing writer. I love how she paints a clear picture of the landscape, almost as if it is a character in her books. O Pioneers! tells the story of a strong woman in difficult times. It is beautiful and inspiring.
