With its beautiful photography and Alys Fowler's fashion, this is one gardening book to get your hands on. Fowler writes in a conversational, accessible way that had me torn between finishing the book in one sitting or putting it down to pick up a shovel.
I've never been as interested in a gardening book as I was in this one...and I've owned several.
Great book on staking claim to your fistful of dirt, no matter where you live.
