It is a beautifully written story that hits close to home for just about anybody. It hurt to read the first couple of chapters as I could see the story that was unfolding. I almost had to stop reading it. And even as I kept reading, it was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. She details all of the events leading up to the main event and I just wanted to grab the characters and shake them to stop their actions. Wonderful book.
