"My Father's Dragon" is a delightful read, perfect for children, though while your reading it to your child, you might just get sucked in to! "My Father's Dragon" follows Elmer, a young boy who runs away from home to save a baby dragon trapped on Wild Island, an island inhabitated only by wild animals. He brings nothing with him except a knapsack full of odds and ends which he uses in clever ways.

In Ray Robinsons compilation of last words, he includes everyone from celebrities to politicians, heroes to criminals. Many of the quotations make you laugh in spite of yourself, while others make you stop and think. Good for history buffs, or anyone who likes a spoonful of irony with their cup of tea.

Lynne Truss' "Eat, Shoots & Leaves" is far more entertaining than most would expect, given that it is about grammar. But this is a wonderful book, perfect for everyone from the grammar sticklers we all know and tolerate, to high school students trying to improve up their essays. "Eat, Shoots & Leaves" gets you interested in grammar in a way your high school teacher never could.
