I found this book mentally stimulating and informative. I had been weary of the infamous Bratz dolls and other gender-submissive advertising, but I was completely overwhelmed by the state of which porn became midstream. I hadn't really thought about it that way. A very interesting and thought-provoking book.

I really love this book! I liked Howl's Moving Castle, but I didn't really have a favorite character I connected to. With that being said, Charmain is probably my twin in a different dimension. I read too much for my own good and I don't know a better feeling than curling up with a good book and a flaky pastry. I also have poor skills in laundry and dish-washing.

I'm not really into "modern age" fantasy and sci-fi, but I really liked this book and this series. The characters were well thought out and the storyline progressed at a level that engaged me on every page. Like the critic on the back, "I was hooked on page three".
