Love Roma Volume 1 by Minoru Toyoda

This is one of my favorite manga series - and one of my favorite anything series - ever. It just tickles me and also makes me feel warm and fuzzy. It's cute and funny, but gives sophisticated insights into relationships. Seriously! Just try it and I bet you'll love it, too.

If you love cuteness, great graphic design, beautiful illustration, or clever little tales - you will love this book. Each page is a visual feast and the characters are all adorable. Great for kids and adults alike!

This is a beautiful, funny, poignant, and wise book. It's fiction, but reads just like a true story. I feel like my life is improved for having read this book. Try it!

Stone Butch Blues

This is the book that represents not only the transformation of the life of the protagonist, but of many individuals working to articulately address the complexities of both sexuality and gender presentation. From the first publication of Stone Butch Blues to its current reissue, the novel has become akin to a new generation's Stonewall, in defining truth of self and building community allegiance. Highly recommended for anyone--straight, queer, or other--who wishes to comprehend the greater nuances of sex and gender. A cornerstone achievement in literature.
