The Prisoner of Heaven by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

Another excellent novel for Carlos Ruíz Zafón. His gothic style creates a suspense filled adventure which is almost impossible to put down. The book is filled with nods to the history of Spanish literature in a style that captures the reader completely. It's a book that makes you sad to finish it.
